This gorgeous black stole has been handwoven by artisans in the beautiful Himalayan country of Bhutan. The silk stole or shawl is characterised by a traditional colourful Bhutanese pattern with raised diamond-shaped motifs and a fringe on either ends. 
 
Such stoles/shawls are commonly used by Bhutanese women to wrap their babies and toddlers and carry them on their back whilst they do their daily chores or shopping. It can also be used as a table runner if you are after something unique for your home.
